Southbury Police Add Three New Officers

The additions bring the force close to fully-staffed.

SOUTHBURY, CT — The Southbury Police Department has hired three new officers.

Officer Elizabeth Alfano is from New Fairfield, Deondre Pierce is from Beacon, New York and Brianna Critelli. is from Wolcott. Critelli is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard.

The number of vacancies in the department has been cut in half since First Selectman Jeffrey Manville took office, according to the Republican-American.

There are also three cadets currently undergoing training at the police academy.
