Joann Kloss, a first grade teacher at Pomperaug Elementary School, was selected as Region 15’s 2013 Teacher of the Year.
“Mrs. Kloss is not only a very fine person but also a consummate professional educator,” said a release by the region. “Mrs. Kloss gives much of herself to the children and the community she serves. The nomination committee made an outstanding selection.”
