Southbury Ambulance Association (SAA) is accepting applications for six volunteer drivers.

The application can be downloaded from the SAA website - http://www.SouthburyAmbulance.org.

Applicants must be 21 years of age with a clean motor vehicle driving record. Accepted applicants will be required to pass a physical exam and be able to lift seventy pounds. SAA will pay for and provide all required training which includes both classroom and field testing.

Accepted applicants will be required to staff at a minimum a six hour shift and will respond to 911 emergency calls with EMS certified EMTs and Paramedics. Responsibilities will include driving the ambulance, assisting with lifting, and retrieving needed equipment and supplies. If you are interested in gaining experience in Emergency Medical
