Troopers Kick-Off Holiday Toy Drive

From the Town of Southbury:

SOUTHBURY, CT - Southbury will welcome Santa as he delivers toys to help kick-off the Troop A holiday toy drive. State troopers will meet up with Santa Claus, and more than 100 Corvettes and classic cars, in Danbury and travel I-84 eastbound to Troop A in Southbury, where the toy drive will be held. In years past more than 1,000 new, unwrapped toys have been donated on this first day of the toy drive.

The procession of corvettes and classic cars will start at approximately 10:00 a.m. from exit 1 on I-84 in Danbury. The procession, with Santa in the lead, will travel I-84 eastbound to exit 14 where they will arrive at Troop A.

Last year more than 100 Corvettes and classic cars packed the Troop A parking lot.
