Two Killed In I-84 Southbury Crash

Two people were killed in a wrong-way crash on I-84, according to police.

SOUTHBURY, CT — Two drivers were killed in a head-on crash on I-84 Saturday morning, according to police.

David Hozer, 46, drove the wrong way on I-84 westbound and collided with a vehicle driven by Diego Jimenez, 48, according to WTNH.

Jimenez was transported to Waterbury Hospital where he was pronounced dead after 2 a.m., according to the News-Times. Hozer was in critical condition at St. Mary's Hospital, but passed away after 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Hozer drove an Audio Q5 and Jimenez was driving Chrysler 300 Limo. Jimenez owned Phoenix Limousine Service, according to his LinkedIn profile.
