Vehicle Stolen From Driveway In Southbury: Police

Police said a wallet was stolen from another vehicle in the same driveway.

SOUTHBURY, CT — One vehicle was stolen and a wallet was taken from another vehicle in the same driveway early Monday morning in Southbury, according to police.

Police said the thefts took place around 5:30 a.m. on Beacon Hill Drive. Both vehicles had been left unlocked overnight, according to police.

“There was another attempt at entering a vehicle on Ridgeview Road around the same time which was unsuccessful due to the vehicle being locked,” police wrote in a post on Facebook.

Police are asking anyone with cameras in the area, or anyone with information related to the incidents, to contact them at 203-264-5912.

“Southbury residents are reminded to always lock your vehicle,” police said.
