
From Waterbury Health: Marianne Bette, MD, has joined Alliance Medical Group, an affiliate of Waterbury HEALTH. Dr. Bette specializes in family medicine.
Born and raised in Southbury, Dr. Bette completed her medical schooling at the University of Southern California, and continued her training in family medicine with Kaiser Permanente Sunset Hospital in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Bette practiced for 18 years in Palmdale and Lancaster, California before returning home to Southbury in 1998 when she established her private practice serving generations in the community for 20 years.
A Board Certified family medicine physician, Dr. Bette cares for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. As an added benefit and convenience to her patients, in addition to traditional primary care services, Dr. Bette is highly skilled at minor in office procedures providing patients comprehensive care from a single location. Dr. Bette will be practicing at the Waterbury HEALTH location at 690 Main Street South, Southbury.

Dr. Bette is also a clinical professor at medical schools of University of Connecticut, Quinnipiac University and the University of Vermont.
Dr. Bette is also a published author. Her book, Living with a Dead Man: A Story of Love, published in 2018 by Emerald Lake Books, is a heartfelt tribute to the life and death of her husband Thom Waner and the lessons she took from her experience.
