A single-car crash in Southington Thursday sent two to an area hospital

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A single-car crash in Southington Thursday sent two to an area hospital, police said.
The crash took place at 10:53 p.m, Thursday, near the entrance /exit area of Kentucky Fried Chicken, located at 866 Queen St., police said.
Police said a preliminary investigation showed that a black 2019 two-door Subaru was traveling South on Queen Street.

At the intersection of Queen and West streets, the Subaru traveled off of the right side of the road, skidded 60– to-80 feet, and struck a utility pole near the KFC driveway, police said,
A 26-year-old Windsor man suffered what police termed non-life-threatening injuries in the crash but another 26-year-old from East Hartford was listen in critical condition at Hartford Hospital, police said.
