SOUTHINGTON, CT — A weekend crash in Southington claimed the life of two people, police said.
At 8:44 p.m. Saturday, Southington police responded to a single-vehicle crash along the reservoir on Andrews Street, between Long Bottom Road and Caretaker Road. Police said a Honda CR-V was traveling in a northeasterly direction on Andrews Street heading toward New Britain.
While negotiating a curve, the driver, identified as 21-year-old Gabriella Correa, lost control of the vehicle, according to a report. The Honda then crossed the double yellow line and struck several large rocks and a guardrail on the side of the road, a report indicates.

The vehicle suffered heavy disabling damage, police said.
According to a report, the vehicle was occupied by four people — Correa and front passenger Mollina Colon, 22; and two rear passengers — 21-year-old Kii Glover and 22-year-old Kaivon Glover. The Glovers were both pronounced dead at the scene, according to a report. Correa and Colon were transported to an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
