2nd Positive Coronavirus Test Recorded At Southington High School
A second positive coronavirus test has been confirmed at Southington High School.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A second positive coronavirus test has been confirmed at Southington High School.
The school is scheduled for remote learning on Wednesday.
School system officials said the person who tested positive was in school last on on Sept. 24 and the positive test affects Cohort B students and staff members.

Those who had close contact with the person will require a self-quarantine for 14 days, officials said. The school also had a positive test on Sept. 15 and that impacted students in Cohort A.
In-person learning for Cohort A is slated to resume Oct 1, and Cohort B is to return to school on Oct. 13, officials said.
