"The all-new, one-night-only concert feature was filmed exclusively for drive-in theaters across North America," according to the billing.

The Southington Drive-In is not handling or coordinating ticket sales for the one-night-only concert, but will be able to distribute its proceeds to host civic and non-profit organizations within the community.

Movies have been on hold at the venue.

The town of Southington, in conjunction with the Plainville-Southington Regional Health District, will re-visit a potential opening for the months of August and September, according to a post on the drive-in's Facebook page. The traditional seasonal opening is in early June.
