Developer Wants Zone Change For Cluster Housing In Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A zone change has been requested for a parcel on Mount Vernon Road in Southington that could pave the way for an age-restricted housing development.

The parcel is located at 2279 Mount Vernon Road and is being requested by Briarwood Real Estate Limited Partnership. Briarwood wants a change to an age-restricted cluster housing zone.

A virtual public hearing on the matter is scheduled for Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. virtually via Webex. Specific instructions on how to enter the virtual meeting will be provided on the Town of Southington Planning Department web page and will also be available on the meeting agenda.
