Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For Hartford And Tolland Counties

The National Weather Service has issued a warning about possible hazardous thunderstorms Thursday evening across northern Connecticut and western Massachusetts.

An alert from the weather service stated, "There is a risk for evening thunderstorms moving from west to east
across the region. Some of these storms could contain gusty winds."

An air quality alert has also been issued for the region, effective from late Thursday morning until 11 p.m.

Temperatures are forecast to reach as high as 95 degrees Thursday, which would be a near-record for this date.
