Motorcyclist Identified In Fatal Southington Crash

State police have released a report on Saturday's fatal motorcycle crash in Southington.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — State police said the motorcyclist killed in a Saturday crash on Interstate-84 was a 45-year-old New Britain man.

A report released on Monday incicates the crash took place at 5:53 p.m. on the eastbound side of the highway, just east of Exit 28.

Anthony Jack was operating a 2008 Honda CBR1000RR along that stretch of the highway when he lost control of the motorcycle, according to a report. State police in a report said the bike then "capsized" onto its left side.

Jack was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries "as a result of the collision sequence," according to a report.

State police are looking for witnesses and said anyone who may have seen the crash or who has video footage of the crash can contact Trooper John Wilson at 860-534-1098.
