New Special Ed Administrator Hired In Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Southington school officials have announced the hiring of a new director of pupil personnel services.

Rebecca Cavallaro is scheduled to begin her tenure in Southington at the start of the new fiscal year, July 1. She make $158,050, according to school officials.

The current director, Margaret Walsh, is retiring at the end of the school year.

The position that oversees special education services in the local school system.

Cavallaro is coming to town from a similar position in the Oxford public school system.
