Pedestrian Hit By Car In Southington
An accident involving a car and pedestrian is being investigated in Southington.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — Police and fire crews rushed to a busy area of Southington Thursday morning for an accident involving a car and pedestrian.
Police said the crash took place at about 8:45 a.m. A pedestrian walking on the sidewalk at the driveway of the CVS at 310 Main St. was struck by a vehicle that was exiting the parking lot, police said.
The pedestrian suffered non life threatening injuries and was transported to an area medical
center by ambulance, police said.

The road was closed for a short time for investigators.
Police were not immediately releasing the identities of those involved.
