Price Chopper Joins Walk-Up Coronavirus Vaccine Lineup In CT

CONNECTICUT — Walk-in coronavirus vaccinations with no appointments needed are now being offered at all Connecticut Price Chopper stores. The same goes for the lone Market 32 store in the state.

The offering kicked off Thursday. Customers are being advised to call ahead to check availability.

Customers 18 and older can come to the pharmacy in the local Price Choppers anytime between one hour after opening and one hour prior to closing for the vaccines. Many pharmacies are also closed for lunch from 1:30 t0 2 p.m., officials said.

"Our customers are in our stores regularly, so this makes it even easier for them to get a vaccine," said Scott Guisinger, Price Chopper/Market 32's vice president of pharmacy. "We encourage our customers to add vaccines to their shopping list so they can help protect themselves, their families and their communities."
