Road Crew Clips Gas Main In Southington
A gas main incident briefly impacted traffic on West Main Street in Southington Tuesday.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — Firefighters and police responded to an area of West Main Street for a gas leak on Tuesday.
The incident took place at about 10:45 a.m., according to fire officials. Police said a roadwork crew hit the line.
Firefighters and a crew from Eversource Energy responded and the scene was quickly cleared, police said.
