Southington Cops Post Letter Of 'Thanks' To Community
Southington police recently reflected on the year 2020 into the year 2021.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Southington police recently penned a letter of "thanks" to the community.
Here is the transcript:
As we journey into 2021 with a sense of hope and optimism, happily leaving 2020 in the rear view, the Southington Police would like to take a moment to reflect on the brighter side to the year. On behalf of the men and women of the Southington Police Department, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to you, the kindhearted people that make up the Town of Southington.
2020 was a difficult and trying year for all of us, including us here at the Police Department.
We have always taken pride in, and thankful for, the strong relationship and support offered by our community.
Over the past year our Officers have been overwhelmed by the supportive words of encouragement and appreciation. The time taken to prepare small care packages for our Officers and the many other countless acts of kindness along the way, helped carry us through this challenging year. It is this relationship which makes the Town of Southington such a special community.
On behalf of all of us here at the Police Department, we would like to send out a big Thank You to all of you in Town.
