Southington Cyberknights Onto World Championship

The Cyberknights from Southington are heading to a world championship competition for robotics after placing first in a regional competition over the weekend.

Team 195 along with alliance partners Team 340, Greater Rochester Robotics from Churchville, NY and Team 4930, Electric Mayhem from Buffalo, NY secured victory and a first place trophy for Southington.

The three teams now qualify for the world championship competition at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Missouri in late April. The competition brings in 600 teams from across the globe.

They will also compete at the Hartford District competition on March 28-29 and the New England District Championship in Worcester, Mass. on April 10-11.
