Southington Man Charged with DUI, Possessing Cocaine in Naugatuck: PD
Police say the incident happened on Dec. 21.

Naugatuck Police said they conducted a motor vehicle investigation on North Main Street at about 2:46 p.m. on Dec. 21.
Scott Capaldo, 47, of 35 Berlin Ave. Apt 175 in Southington is accused of allegedly operating under the influence of alcohol in addition to allegedly being in possession of 0.7 grams of crack cocaine, according to Naugatuck police.
Capaldo was charged with failure to drive in the proper lane, failure to drive at slow speed, failure to drive at reasonable distance, operating under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol and possession of narcotics.

Capaldo was released on $500 bond for the motor vehicle charges and $5,000 bond for the criminal charges.
Capaldo was given a court date of Dec. 30 at Waterbury Superior Court.
