Bethany Mart on Sargent Drive in Bethany.

A stop at a West Hartford store turned into a $100,000 bonanza for a CT Lottery player from Manchester.

On Friday, Thomas Bannon, of Manchester, cashed in a $100,000 winner.

He bought the ticket for the Cash 5 game at the Elmwood Convenience store on New Britain Avenue in West Hartford and hit it big, CT Lottery officials said.
