Southington Police Blotter: Mucho Marijuana, Tampering with Evidence

The following arrest information was provided by the Southington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

In a busy past week for officers, police reported various arrests that included tampering with evidence and possession of a hefty amount of marijuana. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:

Sept. 24

Kyle Lebel, 24, of 200 Wonx Spring Road in Plantsville, was charged with cultivation of marijuana, possession of more than four ounces of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell, possession with the intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia, Sept. 24.

Jeffrey Mazeika, 39, of 171 Rethal St. in Southington, was charged with cultivation of marijuana, possession of more than four ounces of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell, possession with the intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia, Sept. 24.

Sept. 26

Amanda Bedell, 20, of 422 Meriden-Waterbury Road in Southington, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, Sept. 26.

Sept. 29

Robert E. Jasunas, 21, of 136 Rethal St. in Southington, was charged with failure to respond to an infraction, Sept. 29.

Krista Legnani, 43, of 61 Merrell Ave. in Southington, was charged with two counts of failure to respond to an infraction, Sept. 29.

Sept. 30

Ronald Giannamore, 49, of 51 Columbia Boulevard in Waterbury, was charged with interfering with an officer, Sept. 30.

Michael Gorneau, 48, of 1845 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike in Southington, was charged with second-degree filing a false statement, tampering with evidence and interfering with an officer, Sept. 30.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Six people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • One person was cited with operating a motor vehicle under suspension.
  • One person was cited with possession of alcohol by a minor.
  • One person was cited with using a cell phone while driving.
