The son of the police chief in Southington has been arrested.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The son of the Southington police chief is accused of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old woman.
Mark Daly, 24, surrendered at police headquarters on Friday, May 14, according to both the Southington police arrest log and an arrest report.
Daly has been charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and is accused of having non-consensual sexual contact with a 19-year-old woman. Authorities have confirmed that Daly is the son of the Southington police chief.
