Southington Resident Promoted At Apartment Complex

The Governing Board representing Fennwoode Apartments in Newington announced the promotion of Jessica Jaffer to Property Manager, effective immediately. Jaffer served previously as Leasing Manager of the property, located at 11 King Arthurs Way in Newington.

“Since joining Fennwoode Apartments in 2018, Jessica has proven herself an effective leader with a commitment to sustaining excellence in both the living and working environments. She continues to treat the property as an owner, and her passion for the property and service and care to the residents is always her primary concern. She is a great asset to Fennwoode Apartments and continues to exceed our expectations,” said Brian Liistro, second-generation Managing Member for this family-owned property.

As Property Manager, Jaffer oversees the staff, residential experience and the overall operations of Fennwoode Apartments. She is also responsible for resident satisfaction, which is very important to the family ownership operating and managing the property for two generations. In addition, Jaffer is implementing technology for maintenance, quality control, revenue capturing, and workorder execution.

Jaffer is also leading efforts to modernize the property, including overseeing capital improvements and upgrades of Fennwoode Apartments.

She also leads the marketing efforts of the property by initiating, organizing and repeatedly providing re-construction of the Fennwoode website that is now compatible with the latest technology and smart devices.

Jaffer is a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), Certified Credit Compliance Professional (C3P) for Low Income Housing Tax Credit, and a National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP).

She is a resident of Southington, Connecticut.
