Southington Salutes Soldiers In Grand Procession

SOUTHINGTON, CT — State police and Southington police escorted the 102nd Infantry Battalion of the CT Army National Guard Wednesday as the unit deployed to the Horn of Africa.

More than 500 men and women left the the state today to serve, including four State Troopers and several municipal police officers.

Students from DePaolo Middle School applauded the soldiers as they departed.
