Southington School Reopening Guidelines Available For Viewing

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A document school officials are calling "a collection of guidelines and best practices" for reopening Southington schools is available online.

The document was submitted to the State Department of Education by the Southington Public School District on July 24 and it follows the state "template" and complies with the stated requirements outlined in the template.

School officials said it is to be considered "Interim Plan 1.0" and not the final plan.

The District has more than 100 staff members participating in multiple subcommittees addressing "areas of strategic importance."
