Virtual Class: Managing Chronic Back Pain

Guidelines from the American College of Physicians recommend that the first line of therapy for chronic back pain should be non-drug treatments. A free virtual class, “Managing Chronic Back Pain,” will cover topics including defining pain, risk factors and causes, and ways to manage back pain with various approaches including exercise and physical therapy. This event will be held Wednesday, April 21, 11 a.m. to noon. Presenter will be Lisa Murawski, exercise physiologist with Hartford HealthCare’s GoodLife Fitness.
