Virus Sends School In Southington Into Remote Learning For A Week
John F. Kennedy Middle School in Southington will be on a remote learning schedule for about a week.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — John F. Kennedy Middle School in Southington will be on a remote learning schedule for about a week after a confirmed case of coronavirus, school officials said in a letter to the education community.
The remote learning schedule will be in effect through Oct. 29, officials said.
Cloe contact of the person who tested positive for the virus have been contacted and will undergo a 14-day quarantine period, officials said. Because the group includes about 20 staff members, maintaining an in-person schedule was prohibitive, officials said.
