Wolcott’s Ferrazzi Named Football Foundation Coach of Year
John Ferrazzi has had a remarkable run the past three years winning twenty-five games while losing only eight

John Ferrazzi, of Wolcott, coach of the Sheehan Titan's of Wallingford, will receive 2018 Coach of the Year Award at the Casey-O'Brien New Haven County Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame scholar athlete dinner on Friday March 29 at Fantasia Banquet Facility 404 Washington Avenue in North Haven.
He will be honored along with twenty-nine high school and prep school athletes who are being recognized for their academic excellence, leadership and citizenship including Sheehan's Caden Cloutier and Furkan Parcal of nearby Lyman Hall.
Ferrazzi will be recognized at the 59th Anniversary dinner along with State Senator Len Fasano of North Haven who will receive the chapters Distinquished American Award, Al Carbone of Trumbull, Commissioner of the Southern Connecticut Conference who is receiving the Chapter Award of Merit and long time football official Scott Kelly of Milford recepient of the Official Regognition Award.

This past season Ferrazzi led the Titans to a 10-2 record and spot in the Class M playoffs advancing to the semi finals. "John Ferrazzi has had a remarkable run the past three years winning twenty-five games while losing only eight" said Bill O'Brien Football Foundation chapter president. "And this past season was his best". The Titan's averaged 43 point per game for the season.
