Allen Foundation raises over $500 for Allen Book Award Scholarship

David Olio, director of the Allen Foundation, reports that Allen Talk panelist, Dr. AJ Eckert, engaged poignant conversation of LGBTQ+ experiences with audience members and diverse panelists at South Windsor Library, Tuesday, May 28. Over $500 was raised toward the $25,000 goal for the Allen Book Award Scholarships. Amazing evening for open and honest conversations from a diverse and informative panel, which included a parent, student and business professional. Allen Talk #2 is scheduled for the Rockville Library at 6 pm on Tuesday, June 11. Please join the conversation.
