Road Work on Slater Street Scheduled for July

The warmer weather is here and the timing is right for road improvements.

In July, crews from Double C Construction will be reconstructing Slater Street from Deming Street to Oakland Road to improve the roadway and the drainage in this area, according to the town website.

The work is scheduled to be substantially completed by later this summer. 

During the work, the road will be closed to through traffic during the day, but access will be maintained to all properties along the road during construction.

Expect delays because of the work which requires that traffic be limited to one-lane and the roadway reduced to gravel for a period of time.
