Aging Baby Boom generation will drive continued growth in this field

B&L Financial Architects is hosting a series of 10 summer seminars to introduce women to careers in financial services and provide a networking forum for women leaders who are already thriving in this career field. Interested women may pre-register for one of the following days and times:

  • Thursday, August 10 from 8:30 to 10:30 am, 12 noon to 2 pm, and 4:30 to 6:30 pm.
  • Friday, August 11 from 8:30 to 10:30 am, 12 noon to 2 pm, and 4:30 to 6:30 pm.
  • Saturday, August 12 from 9 to 11 am.
  • Thursday, August 17 from 8:30 to 10:30 am, 12 noon to 2 pm, and 4:30 to 6:30 pm.

Women typically take on the roles of caregiver and are masters of multi-tasking, keeping everything and everyone on track. Yet there’s a concern. Women tend not to be prepared for the financial burdens of long-term care for themselves and the people they love. And long-term care is a concern most of us will face as about 70 percent of all individuals age 65 and older will require some type of long-term care services in their lifetime.(1)

Because of these financial challenges and women’s unique position, the long-term care sector is serving as a career growth and development springboard for women across the country. No one understands women more than other women and the vital, lasting roles they provide for loved ones — financially, emotionally, physically and spiritually.
