Beautiful Blooms, Sunny Days, Wild Wings and Spring Drama
Here are five things going on in the area today.

Good morning, South Windsor! Today is Wednesday, May 1, 2013; there are 244 days left in the year.
The old rhyme goes "April showers bring May flowers," and man do they!
Patch Field Editor Jayme Kunze visited town yesterday to talk to people about how to best use the new site and in her travels she snapped photos of some of the beautiful flowers in bloom throughout town. My personal favorites are the pictures of the flowerbeds outside of the South Windsor Public Library. Love the tulips.
The good news is that we'll have plenty of opportunity to get outside this week and enjoy the flowers and springtime weather. The National Weather Service is calling for lots of sunshine and temperatures in the 70s nearly everyday through Sunday.
Doesn't get much better than that! Get outside and enjoy. Â Â
