Best Place in SW for Ice Cream, Pokemon Club, Garden Tours and GMOs
Here are five things going on in the area today.

Good morning, South Windsor! Today is Thursday, May 2, 2013; there are 243 days left in the year.
A confession: I'm not much of a candy person. I know, I know. Don't tell Ted.
It's not that I won't eat candy (love me some Snickers now and again), but I won't go out of my way to have some candy and I'll be OK if I don't. Your candy bowls are safe with me.
Ice cream is another story. My family has been known to take a detour to get some Moose Tracks or to drive to a few different convenience stores in search of a particular flavor of Ben & Jerry's. I'll scour the region in search of the best chocolate or coffee shake.
Despite the fact that it was 40ºF, or something like that, on the official first day of Spring, I celebrated with vanilla soft serve.
Ted recently wrote this great story about the reopening of Dari Delite just over the border in East Windsor. It didn't take me long to get there.
So now that you know my secret, can you recommend a place in town or the area to pickup a cone or two? Thanks!
