Join us at 993 Main Street, South Windsor, CT, on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 7:00 p.m as Brad Quinlin, Civil War scholar, transcriber and researcher of over 13 historical works, and Robert “Bob” Starr, introduce their joint presentation of “Pierre Starr - Surgeon, 39th Ohio Infantry: For My Grandchildren.” They will share details of their collaboration on this rare piece of first-hand Civil War history. Books will be available for purchase and signing. Light refreshments will be served. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
Bob Starr is Pierre Starr’s great grandson, who discovered Pierre’s journals, letters and other artifacts in the attic of his South Windsor home.
