Busy Weekend, SWHS Sports Sked, Kids Stuff Tag Sale

Here are five things going on in the area today.

Good morning, South Windsor! Today is Monday, April 29, 2013; there are 246 days left in the year.

So, has everyone recovered from the weekend? There was SO much stuff going on this past weekend in South Windsor from lacrosse tournaments and town-wide cleanups to tag sales and talent shows. Thanks to everyone for posting notes about the fantastic events on the South Windsor Patch Facebook page.

Here are just some of them places went and things you did:

  • Bobcat Robotics took part in the 2013 Connecticut Regional competition in Hartford.
  • Fun was had by all at the Wapping Talent Show on Saturday, according to Patch reader Shawna Mullings.
  • The Girl Scouts did a wonderful job cleaning up at Orchard Hill.

If you took any photos or want to share your personal experience from the weekend, you're welcome to add the information to the site on the Boards or as a blog! Contact me directly for more information (megan.bard@patch.com).
