DUI Checkpoint Slated For South Windsor Friday Night

Funding for the checkpoint program is through a grant from the Connecticut Department of Transportation OUI Enforcement Program.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A DUI enforcement checkpoint will be set up in at least one South Windsor location on Friday, June 11. The checkpoint will be manned by the South Windsor Police Department, aided by other Metro Traffic Services police departments.

The checkpoint will be set up from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the area of John Fitch Boulevard by I-291 and/or at Buckland Road and Cedar Avenue, according to police.

Funding for the checkpoint program is through a grant from the Connecticut Department of Transportation OUI Enforcement Program.
