Facebook Page Created to Spread Word About Schools Project
"Support South Windsor Schools" page offers information about South Windsor elementary schools facilities plan.

Supporters of South Windsor Schools, including parents, teachers and staff, have noted through two failed referendums that the town's elementary school buildings are in need of attention.
Now, the Board of Education, at the recommendation of Superintendent Kate Carter, has approved a new 10-year plan to renovate or reconstruct South Windsor's elementary schools. The plan calls for three referendums, spaced out over the years, to allocate funding for the project.
In hopes of preventing another failed referendum, supporters are setting out to spread information about the project.Â
To that end, the Support South Windsor Schools Facebook page was created Thursday. So far the page shares links to meetings concerning the project and a contest to see whether residents can name all of the town's schools.
