From the Town: Next Bulky Waste, Christmas Tree Collections on Monday

The next BULKY WASTE COLLECTION will be during the week of Monday, January 6, 2014 on trash collection day. Pickup for Condominiums will be on Friday, January 10, 2014 (including Plum Ridge Condominiums). It is not necessary to schedule a bulky waste collection. Please place the item(s) curbside or by the dumpster by 7:00 a.m. for collection.

The first CHRISTMAS TREES COLLECTION will begin the week of Monday, January 6, 2014.  The last Christmas trees collection will begin the week of Monday, January 13, 2014.  The collection will be on your refuse collection day of this week; this includes Plum Ridge Condominiums.  The collection for all other Condominiums will be only on Friday, January 10, 2014 and Friday, January 17, 2014.  Trees must be placed at the curb for collection by 7:00 a.m.  There will be one pass per street.  Trees placed in plastic bags will not be picked up. Questions may be directed to the Public Works Department, (860) 644-2511, ext. 343 Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
