Hartford Marathon to Close Some South Windsor Streets

Main Street will be closed to traffic on Saturday, October 12th 2013 as participants run the Hartford Marathon. 

The race participants will enter South Windsor from, and return to, East Hartford requiring road closures from approximately 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Main Street residents and King Street residents are asked to park on side streets (on the east side of Main Street), so they can access a vehicle if they need to leave while the marathon is in progress. Only emergency vehicles and Marathon participants/staff will be permitted on Main Street and King Street during the event.
