The Climate Change Forum: How Citizens Can Protect the Environment

Opening Remarks - Mayor Andrew Paterna

We have brought together a group of knowledgeable speakers to present the topic of climate change and what we can all do to help make a difference. There will be members of the CT Chapter of the Sierra Club, the CT interreligious Eco-Justice Network, the Sunrise Movement, and the Chair of the South Windsor Energy Committee to report on climate change issues, energy conservation, renewable energy options, and the present state of energy conservation legislation being discussed at the CT State Legislature.

Following the presentations there will be an opportunity for a question and answer session so that we can discuss the options for what we can do to make a difference in energy conservation and climate change. Please join us at this important program and discussion.
