More Accolades And Honors For South Windsor College Students

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Bates College, Lewiston ME

• Jevan Sandhu of South Windsor was named to the dean's list at Bates College for the fall semester ending in Dec. 2020. This is a distinction earned by students whose grade point average is 3.88 or higher. Sandhu, the daughter of Balkar S. Sandhu and Gurminder K. Sandhu, is a 2017 graduate of Plymouth Regional High School. She is majoring in psychology and minoring in education and gender and sexuality studies at Bates.

Emmanuel College, Boston MA

• Katelyn Hunter, Charles King, Domenic Gallo, Nicole Hunter and Melissa Tremblay, all of South Windsor, were named to the Dean's List for the fall 2020 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• Thirteen students from South Windsor have been named to the President's Honors List for fall 2020. The President's Honors List is made up of an extremely select group of students who earned a grade point average of 3.75 or higher in the semester. South Windsor honorees are: Kabrea Akko, Austin Bond, Nicole Charron, Olivia Dimaio, Jeremy Dydyn, Thomas Goolsby, Ryle Jarvis, Cassidy Lariviere, Samantha Poulin, Megan Powell, Luke Reed, Jade Soto and Brianna Spaulding.
• The University of Hartford is pleased to announce 22 students from South Windsor have been named to the Dean's List for fall 2020.
