Motorcyclist Severely Injured In South Windsor Crash

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A motorcycle crash near Route 5 and Pleasant Valley Road Thursday morning left a woman with serious injuries, necessitating use of the LIFE STAR helicopter.

The operator was flown to Hartford Hospital. Traffic is delayed while Metro Traffic Services, a regional traffic unit, investigates the crash. Investigators were still working at the scene at 11:45 a.m., and are expected to be at the sitefor several hours, Sgt. Mark Cleverdon said.
