Motorcyclist Severely Injured In South Windsor Crash
A woman operating a motorcycle was airlifted to Hartford Hospital via LIFE STAR helicopter following the Thursday morning crash.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A motorcycle crash near Route 5 and Pleasant Valley Road Thursday morning left a woman with serious injuries, necessitating use of the LIFE STAR helicopter.
The operator was flown to Hartford Hospital. Traffic is delayed while Metro Traffic Services, a regional traffic unit, investigates the crash. Investigators were still working at the scene at 11:45 a.m., and are expected to be at the sitefor several hours, Sgt. Mark Cleverdon said.
Lifestar has left the scene and taken the female operator of the motorcycle to Hartford Hospital with serious physical injuries. Our regional traffic unit is investigating the crash and will be on scene for the next couple hours. Once again, expect delays and avoid the area. https://t.co/i65tPCwUky
