New Traffic Rules For Section Of South Windsor

Traffic changes have been implemented in a section of South Windsor.

SOUTH WINDSOR — Traffic changes have been implemented along the Kelly Road/Woodland Drive corridor in South Windsor.

The changes are part of an ongoing effort to "make town roads safer and more uniformly signed," police said.

  • Brian Road westbound at Laurel Street — yield sign replaced with stop sign and stop line
  • Brian Road eastbound at Oak Street — yield sign replaced with stop sign and stop line
  • Birch Road westbound — stop sign with stop line installed
  • Laurel Street at Woodland Drive — four-way stop installed with "all way" signs under each stop sign
  • Maple Street at Elm Street — stop sign and stop line added
