Notice Of Construction - Road Closure Of Chapel Road At The Railroad Crossing

Chapel Road will be closed on either side of the railroad crossing east of Route 5 from Saturday 11/14/2020 at 6:00 AM until Monday 11/16/2020 at 5:00 AM. The closure is necessary to reconstruct the rail crossing. A marked detour route will be in place directing cars to Ellington Road (Route 30) and Pleasant Valley Road. Access will be available to all homes and businesses on Chapel Road from Ellington Road (Route 30) all the way to the last business just before the rail crossing (#240). This access will be from the Ellington Road (Route 30) side.

Paving work will be occurring on the morning of Monday 11/16/2020, weather depending, but the road will be open to traffic.
