Police: South Windsor, Meriden Pharmacy Robberies May Be Related
Police have released images from both robberies and are asking for the public to help identify the suspect.
South Windsor Police have released photographs of a man who robbed the Walgreens on East Main Street in Meriden Thursday because police believe the same man may have also robbed the CVS in South Windsor recently.
According to Meriden police, the male suspect at the Walgreens demanded Oxycontin, then lifted his shirt to reveal a handgun in his waistband, according to Meriden Patch. The man was given an undisclosed amount of Oxycontin, then fled the store on foot.
In the South Windsor incident, a man also approached the pharmacy counter, displayed a handgun and left with pills, police said.Â
The Meriden suspect was described as a white male, about 6’ 0" tall, medium build, and grey hair. The male was wearing a blue baseball hat with a white insignia on the front, a dark colored possibly blue long sleeve shirt, and blue jeans.
The South Windsor suspect was described as a white male, about 60 years old, wearing a red Boston Red Sox hat, green pullover jacket and speaks in a gruff manner.
