Sewer Work Prompting Traffic Delays In South Windsor Next Week

Sewer work will lead to a detours in South Windsor next week.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — On Monday Aug. 26 and Tuesday, Aug. 27, Foster Street Extension will

be closed in the area of No. 910 for a sewer project, police said.

The roadway will be closed from from approximately 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on those days and a detour route will be posted, police said.

Traffic Control flaggers will also be stationed at the Ellington Road (Route 74) and Miller Road to assist residents.

Theroad closure is necessary due to the scope of the excavation project and the need to be done before school starts on Wednesday, police said.
