Silk City Chorus Hosts Circus Smirkus

South Windsor, CT – Dig into another serving of Circus Smirkus as they follow a new recipe to whet your appetite in the Big Top Bistro! Vermont’s award-winning international youth circus, is back on the road with its 2015 Big Top Tour, celebrating more than a quarter-century tradition of bringing joy and magic to towns all over the Northeast. The traveling youth circus performs 66 shows this summer, from the mountains of Vermont to the shores of Maine, with stops along the way in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut and upstate New York. Thirty stars, ages 11 to 18, bring youthful exuberance and polished circus skills from all parts of the country and the world. This year’s troupe hails from thirteen states – California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maine, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New York, Texas, Virginia, Vermont, and Washington. The 2015 Big Top Tour takes to the road in late June and travels through mid-August. It stops at South Windsor High School, 161 Nevers Road on Saturday and Sunday, July 18th and 19th. Shows on Saturday at 2:00PM and 7:00PM and on Sunday at 1:00PM and 6:00PM.
