South Windsor High Field Hockey Team Defeats Maloney 6-0
Run in form has seen Bobcats jump in the state Class L rankings.

After a tough start to the season that included just one victory in its first seven matches, the South Windsor field hockey team has emerged as a top team in Class L.
Indeed, the Bobcats have won five of its last six matches, including a 6-0 victory over Maloney on Senior Day on Thursday.
Rehana Addona and Kat Adamo both scored two goals, while Jackie Kenny and Bridget Kelly scored once for the Bobcats. Rebecca Schroder had 3 assists and Jackie Kenny had one, and goalie Caitlin Gilligan had 8 save for the clean sheet.

With nine goals allowed in 13 matches (including four to Wilton, perhaps the best team in the state), South Windsor’s defense has never been in question. The offense, which sputtered during the first seven matches (2 goals), has now scored 21 goals in the last six matches.
The recent run in form has seen the Bobcats lifted to No. 12 in the state Class L rankings.
